RAC (Railway Assets Corporation)
The Railway Assets Corporation or better known as RAC is a Federal Statutory Body under the Ministry of Transport (MOT) responsible for owning, managing and planning the business to translate Government-funded railway assets into valuable assets capable of generating continuous income for the Government. RAC was established to help the railway industry in Malaysia thrive and be competitive and on par with the railway industries in developed countries.
RAH (Railway Assets Holding Sdn. Bhd.)
Railway Asset Holding (RAH) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of RAC with the status of Private Limited Company. RAH does not directly own or control assets, but was established to carry out development and commercialization activities of RAC assets in a more flexible and responsive manner to market needs. RAH also functions as an implementer of strategic projects, including those involving collaboration with private investors through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
