I want to develop an area near the railway track. How can I apply for permission to build a level crossing?
Submit an official letter to RAC with full details of the construction area, including a Traffic Impact Assessments (TIA). The application will be reviewed and coordinated by RAC before further action is taken.
Does the rolling stock belong to RAC or KTMB?
According to the Railways Act 1991, all railway-related assets, including rolling stock acquired after 1992, belong to RAC.
How can used assets be purchased?
Send an official letter to RAC stating the type of materials, number of units, and the collection date (at least one week in advance, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays). RAC will review the request and issue the necessary documents along with the purchase cost details.
How can machinery and equipment be rented?
To rent, send an official letter to RAC stating the type of machinery, number of units, rental date, and duration. RAC will review the request and issue a Letter of Acceptance (SST) along with the cost details.

Yes. The following machinery and equipment can be rented, with charges based on daily rates.
